Metro LockAlert™ Cart Management System (CMS) provides healthcare facilities with a greater level of efficiency and control when managing their cart fleet. The easy-to-use LockAlert CMS software allows administrators to remotely manage users and cart configurations, in addition to providing access to valuable reporting and auditing tools.

  • LockAlert Cart Management System (CMS) wireless communication works on multiple 802.11 protocols. Facilities can select which protocol (a/b/g/n) provides the best transmission and coexistence with existing RF communication and equipment.
  • Carts are wirelessly connected to a facility’s network and do not need to be taken out of service in order to update.
  • LockAlert CMS also provides local / USB service to manage individual carts that are out of wireless range.
  • LockAlert CMS software allows hospitals to centrally manage users and cart preferences leading to increased security and efficient use of hospital resource time.
  • In lieu of looking for carts and manually updating individual cart databases, an administrator can remotely create, edit and delete cart configurations, as well as retrieve user sign-in records and controlled substances (CS) entries securely from one centralized location.
  • Efficiently manage a considerable amount (rotation) of employee sign-in IDs by recurrently adding new users and deleting old users as frequently as needed.
