InterMetro Introduces Heated Banquet Cabinets at NAFEM 2003
Control to Serve Meals Hot and on Time, Every Time
September 5, 2003 --

Metro's new line of Heated Banquet Cabinets give
users the control to serve meals hot and on time, every time. Two heating systems are
available, standard electric and Quad-Heat™, both providing
superior thermal performance. The Quad-Heat™ system
combines the standard electric heat module with a canned fuel management system
that features innovative corner chimneys that channel warm air throughout the
cabinet, surrounding meals with uniform heat. An advance level of control
is provided by the unique three-point-control handle, which allows the cabinet
to be pulled or pushed from all four sides, and the optional swivel lock caster
system which allows the cabinet to be moved in-and-out-of-line without
"dragging". Kick-latches provide access to the cabinet when hands are
full. And all important information is found in one easy-to-use,
easy-to-read place. The control panel shows information on time,
temperature, and contents using an exclusive count-up/count-down timer, accurate
and easy-to-read thermometer, and dual function white-board/clip board.
